Important Guidelines
- Only one pet per passenger allowed in cabin or hold.
- Soft carriers recommended for cabin pets; carriers must fit specified dimensions and allow pet comfort.
- Hard-sided IATA-compliant crates required for hold; special crates mandated for fighting/dangerous breeds.
- Pre-book pets at least 72 hours prior; complete and present required forms (H402 for cabin, H184 for hold).
- No pets accepted in hold on flights to/from Paris CDG Airport and to/from UK, UAE, Senegal.
- Ensure pet has current vaccinations, microchip, and all required documentation for travel and entry.
Woofly Tips
- Start preparations and bookings early to secure pet space and allow time to gather required documents.
- Ensure your pet’s carrier or crate is compliant with airline and IATA standards—test pet comfort before travel.
- Bring original and digital copies of vaccination and health certificates, pet passports, and booking confirmations.
- Check destination country requirements carefully to prevent delays or refusals at customs.
- Never sedate your pet without consulting a veterinarian; the airline may refuse transport of sedated pets.
