- Pets and carriers must fit comfortably under seat in front of passenger; carriers must be leak-proof, secure, and ventilated.
- Only one soft carrier per passenger allowed in cabin; up to two pets of same species may share carrier if comfortable.
- Service animals accepted with documentation per DOT rules; emotional support animals no longer recognized and must travel as pets.
- No health certificates required for domestic pet cabin travel, but check destination/state rules; pets must be healthy and vaccinated as per local laws.
- Pets must stay inside carrier at all times in airport and on aircraft.
Woofly Tips
- Acclimate your pet to its carrier weeks ahead to reduce stress and likelihood of denied boarding.
- Purchase or bring a leak-proof, ventilated, and appropriately sized soft carrier matching airline limits.
- Ensure the pet’s head always remains inside the carrier during travel and airport transit.
- Arrive early at the airport to allow time for pet check-in and TSA screening.
- Contact Frontier customer service for detailed breed or route-specific questions and updates.
