easyJet only accepts certified guide and assistance dogs for passengers with disabilities. No other animals—including cats, birds, rabbits, reptiles, or fish—are permitted in the cabin, hold, or as cargo on any easyJet route. Emotional support animals are not recognized.
Assistance dogs must have ADI, IGDF, or equivalent certification. Advance notice is required. Non-compliance may result in refusal of booking or boarding.

General Policy Overview

  • PETS IN CABIN: Only recognized, certified guide/assistance dogs (with ADI/IGDF or equivalent training and documents) are accepted for eligible passengers, with advance request. Emotional support animals not permitted.
  • PETS AS CHECKED BAGGAGE/CARGO: No pets accepted as checked/hold baggage or as air freight/cargo under any circumstances.
  • Breed/Size Restrictions: No breed restrictions for guide/assistance dogs if certified and permitted by country laws; all other pets strictly prohibited.

For Guide/Assistance Dog Travelers

  • Notify easyJet as soon as possible and at least 48 hours before departure of your intent to travel with a recognized guide/assistance dog.
  • Provide all relevant certification/training documents, as well as any country-required pet health/passport paperwork.
Your dog must be harnessed or leashed at all times and sit at your feet.
  • Up to 1 assistance dog per eligible passenger. Onboard acceptance per flight may be limited by space or local rules. Some destinations (e.g., Egypt, Israel, Kosovo, Montenegro, Morocco, Turkey) do not permit any assistance dogs due to local regulations.

Woofly Tips

  • All other pets—dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, reptiles, and fish—must use alternative airlines, transport options, or specialist pet couriers.
  • Confirm local entry requirements for your guide/assistance dog at all destination points before booking and travel.
  • Prepare and bring hard copies of all service dog certificates and medical/disability paperwork. Retain digital backups in your email cloud/phone.
