Important Guidelines
- PETS must be at least 12 weeks old; maximum 8kg per carrier (including pet); soft/hard carrier max 40x30x24cm (total dims ≤94cm).
- Book your pet’s spot early—numbers are limited per flight. Always receive airline confirmation before travel.
- Bring a valid rabies vaccination and health certificate; additional permits/import/export paperwork required for each country of departure/transit/destination.
- For travel to the USA (from 1 August 2024), see CDC Dog Import Form requirements and carry proof at check-in and arrival.
- No animals accepted in the cabin or hold on flights to/from United Kingdom, UAE, or Qatar; additional restrictions possible by route.
- Pet must remain fully enclosed in carrier at all times; not allowed to protrude body or head at any phase of journey.
- Check destination country’s consular or ministry sites for current pet entry requirements and import bans.
Woofly Tips
- Arrive at least 2 hours before departure when traveling with a pet; pets check in at airport counter, not online.
- Acclimatize your animal to its carrier beforehand, and ensure it can stand, turn, and lie in comfort during the flight.
- Always prepare digital and paper copies of all health/vaccination/import documents for each segment and transfer.
- If your trip involves other airlines or codeshare flights, confirm their pet policy—if stricter, their rules will apply for those legs.
- Pets from the same litter (max 2) can share one carrier if size/weight rules met; all carriers must be ventilated/leak-proof and escape-proof.
- No refunds or transfers for paid pet service unless Air Serbia cancels or cannot provide transport.
- Never sedate your animal before travel unless prescribed by a vet; sedated pets may be refused at check-in.
