Important Guidelines
- Only small dogs and cats (≤8 kg, incl. carrier) can be carried in cabin; max one carrier per passenger, two compatible pets per carrier allowed.
- Carrier must be soft, waterproof, bite-/escape-proof, dimension max 55 x 40 x 23 cm, and fit under the seat in front.
- Pets must be at least 12 weeks (15 weeks when flying to/from Germany) and be clean, odorless, and healthy.
- Pets are not included in free baggage allowance; each requires a paid booking (from €60/flight).
- No pets allowed as checked baggage or cargo; birds, rabbits, reptiles, fish not permitted under any circumstances.
- No animal transport permitted to/from the UK, Ireland, or Dubai, except for recognized assistance dogs to Dubai (documentation required).
- All required documentation (health certs, proof of vaccination, microchip ID) and country import/export papers must be carried.
Woofly Tips
- Book your pet’s ticket as early as possible as spaces are limited and must be confirmed in advance.
- Train your pet to be calm and comfortable in the carrier for the full duration of the journey.
- Bring all documents (vet certificate, vaccination, microchip, travel papers) in both physical and digital format, readily available for inspection.
- Carefully check destination country pet entry rules—EU Pet Passport, microchip, and rabies vaccine are standard requirements for international flights.
- Make sure your pet can stand up, turn, and lie down in the carrier. Airline staff have the right to refuse any animal or carrier that does not meet these standards.
- Flights to/from the UK, Ireland, and Dubai are the most restricted for animals—always check current rules before booking.
