General Policies
- PETS IN CABIN: Only service dogs and falcons (on some routes) allowed. Emotional support animals not accepted as service dogs.
- PETS AS CHECKED BAGGAGE: Permitted for dogs, cats, birds that meet weight/size requirements on most routes. Carrier ≤300cm; \u003e75kg cargo only.
- PETS AS CARGO: All other pets, oversized or restricted breeds, plus reptiles/fish, must use Qatar Airways Cargo. Cargo also required for certain routes (e.g., Australia, New Zealand).
- BREED RESTRICTIONS: Snub-nosed or “brachycephalic” breeds face limitations. Confirm actual restrictions for departure + destination.

- Bird: Checked baggage/cargo for most species; falcons allowed in Economy cabin on many routes (special fees/guidelines apply).
- Reptile: Cargo only, with all legal, CITES, crate, and species regulations met.
- Fish: Cargo only, in leak-proof tank, with health and import/export docs.
- Rabbit: Not specified; inquire directly with Qatar Airways Cargo.
